United Science Associations Having seen the GaLakTik destruction caused by decades of interplanetary economic exploitation and outright warfare, militant environmental scientists of various empires banded together to use their technology to end planetary destruction and exploitation. The USA Scientists believe that research and technology, properly managed and controlled, will result in enough goods for everyone without resorting to warfare and plundering. To prove this, they settled several barren, lifeless, planets and turned them into lush Gardens of Eden. Then they set about trying to stop warfare and exploitation. Seeing that they could not stop all warfare, they have become sort of a combination GaLakTik Police Force and Red Cross. Rarely will they intervene in a pitched battle. However, they will defend themselves and helpless planets from attack by any Empire. They will ally with major powers to fight "great evil" in a given campaign, and have recently been devoting more and more effort into defeating the Omegan scourge. US starships are nick-named "pencil" ships. The advanced technology and emphasis on defense built into the USA’s starships makes them among the most effective in the galaxy in withstanding Omegan attacks. Their high speed makes them suitable for rescue missions in the face of heavy opposition.

GaLakTik TakTik Conversion Notes
Ship Name:  The name of the miniatures changed a bit over time so I have combined/consolidated them for clarity.
Ship Classifications:  See table below. A miniature's name in the product list often does not match the classification indicated.
Systems and Stats: These are  based on the stats for the miniature in the GaLakTik TakTik rules.
Weapons: GT Beams roughly convert to FT Beam weapons.  GT Torpedoes convert to the other weapons on the ship which vary in order to add more flavor between fleets using the Empire's background as a guide..
Screens: Based on GT Shield rating - <20 = 0, 20-35=1, 36+=2.
Thrust: Usually equal to GT ship design's Tactical Manuver rating.
Miniature Identification: I have most of these miniatures but I am missing some plus several are loose so I have tried to determine the correct item number for those miniatures but may be incorrect.
