Eisenwerk Miniatures and their Space Tak rules and minis evolved to
become PewterCraft
with their expanded GaLakTik TakTik
line of starship miniatures and expanded rules.
Note that the name is correctly spelled with the capital L
and T's as you can see
in this rules scan.
These miniatures are not common but
some can still be
found through auctions and resellers. The molds for
these minis are in private hands and they have been looking
at casting more for sale.
There are five identified major Empires: The Dominion; Earth
Colonies; Black Alliance; Konfederation X; and, United
Science Associations which control most of the planets
within the explored sectors. There are also numerous minor
powers and space pirates who prey on intergalactic trade.
Recently, aliens from another galaxy, The Omega Aliens,
appeared in this galaxy and began raiding planets of the
major Empires. The Omegan’s goal is to rid the galaxy of all
intelligent life forms other than their own.

Omega Empire
The Omega Empire
arrived in the galaxy from somewhere in deep space.
No human has ever seen an Omegan and lived to tell
of it. "Omega" is last letter of the Ancient Greek
(Earth) alphabet and traditionally signified "the
end". Since no one knows what this alien Empire
calls itself, or where outside the galaxy they come
from, and since anyone who has encountered these
aliens has met their "end", The Omega Aliens
are a fanatical Religious Theocracy which considers
all other intelligent life forms an affront to their
gods. Thus the Omegans have started a JiHad to
eliminate all “infidel” life forms. This makes these
aliens the enemy of every other power in the galaxy.
Omegans attack on sight, and fight until destroyed.
Upon discovering a battle between other major
Empires, they will wait until one side has won, and
then they destroy the "winning" side. Omegans will
hire pirates to attack starships and outposts of the
other major powers. After all, having humans kill
each other saves Omegans the trouble.
Omegans use sleek starships with a characteristic
streamlined nose section which is believed to house
sensor arrays. Their main weapons are Plasma
Torpedoes capable of destroying small starships with
a single HIT. The Plasma Torpedo’s main weakness is
its relatively short range; however, the high speeds
of Omegan Starships means they will get in range.
Recently, some Omegan starships have been reported
as carrying strong Laser batteries, again with short
range.

GaLakTik TakTik
Conversion Notes
Ship Name: The
name of the miniatures changed a bit over
time so I have combined/consolidated them for clarity. Ship Classifications: See
table below. A miniature's name in the product list often
does not match the classification indicated.
Systems and Stats: These are based on the stats for
the miniature in the GaLakTik TakTik rules.
Weapons: GT Beams roughly convert to FT Beam weapons.
GT Torpedoes convert to the other weapons on the ship which
vary in order to add more flavor between fleets using the
Empire's background as a guide..
Screens: Based on GT Shield rating
- <20 = 0, 20-35=1, 36+=2.
Thrust: Usually equal to GT ship design's Tactical Manuver
rating. Miniature Identification:
I have most of these miniatures but I am missing some plus
several are loose so I have tried to determine the correct
item number for those miniatures but may be incorrect.
