BORG
Collective
The Borg are not from the Origial
Series or Motion Picture eras, but they sure make a good bad guy for convention games
with a single cube being a great
common enemy for all the players to battle.
Someday I may
create an SSD for an armored Tactical Cube....
The
Borg Cube rules are based on the Sa'Vasku from Fleet Book 2 and use power
allocation to allow the cube to be very adaptive to its
combat situation. There
are a number of special rules and rules variations to make them more
'Borg-like' and they are in the special rules document
linked below.
Due
to this complexity of the massive Borg Cube, I had 2 and then 4 players run the cube making the
power allocation decisions and then required them to all talk in unison at
the start of each turn to taunt the
allies that "resistance is futile".
